Intermediate Drawing
Here is the artwork I did for Intermediate Drawing for the past 3 months. I used charcoal, graphite, and colored pastels as the materials which I used still life and people as subjects. I used it to develop traditional art skills which can be applied to digtal art in Photoshop.
I did a charcoal still llfe of the objects which were based on household items and I used highlights and shadows with a vine charcoal, compressed, and used a blending stump to smudge in the shadows to make a realistic look.
I did a complementary color still life drawing of my Spock plush doll as a still life object and a Chinese tea set which is red. I used brown and blue, not black because it is forbidden. I colored it brown with the layering of highlights and blue shadows as analogous colors like Vulcans have green blood from Star Trek
